And from India to Turkey, from Hungry to Myanmar the playbook is eerily the same... rewrite history, capture the courts, silence the witness, and call patriotism the act of looking away.
Here is a prayer from one who read your words... May the human family, exhausted by its own cruelty one day choose the harder road, not the comfort of a single story, but the unbearable light of many truths told at once. May peace come not as a ceasefire, but as a habit.
Have read your book, an excellent expose, a while back. More power to you Rana. Do not be cowed down by these murderers and cowards. Unfortunately one has lost confidence in the independence of the judiciary so i doubt if justice will ever be achieved. Nonetheless keep up the good work!
